| Chip Timing
Grand Prix of Running uses Chip Timing for all of its events. For each
race, you will be issued a chip to wear to receive your time. Chips must
be returned after each race.
GUN TIME is used, whereby every runner has the same start time. When
you cross the finish line, you run across a timing mat, which automatically
records your time into the computer. There are no Start Mats when using
GUN TIME.
