Answers to frequently asked questions

When and Where do I pick up my race packet?-Race packets will be available for pickup Monday thru Friday of the week prior to a race at the Runner's Roost store located at 121 N.Tejon Street in Colorado Springs. Runner's Roost hours for packet pickup are 10 AM to 6 PM. If you sign up online, please allow 24 hours for your application to be processed.
Race packets are also available race morning at the Registration tables in the Start area.

Divisions – There are thirteen age divisions for both males and females. They are under 15, 15-19, 20-24, 24-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+, as well as a Clydesdale Division for men (190 plus pounds) and an Athena Division for women (150 plus pounds).

Age – Your age for the Series will be your age on the day of the LAST race in your series. For individual races, the assigned age bracket will be your age on the day of that race.

Awards – T-shirts for all participants, but not guaranteed to race day sign-ups. Awards will be given at each race to the first three finishers in each age division, male and female and to the top three overall men and women winners (excluded from the age divisions.) At the end of the series, awards will also be given to the Series winners, both Long and Short, to the top 3 finishers, male and female, in each age division. The Clydesdale and Athena Divisions will also receive special recognition. All awards must be picked up within 30 days after each race.

Wheels & Pets – For the safety of all participants, baby joggers, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and Pets ARE NOT ALLOWED in any of the races.

Child Care – Child Care is not available.

Race Results – Chip Timing is used. You will be issued a chip for each race. You must wear the chip to receive your results. The chip is disposable and does not need to be returned. Official Results will be generated as quickly as possible after the race and will be posted on this site over the weekend of the race and in Runner’s Roost, 121 N. Tejon, Colorado Springs, within a week, after Race Day. Any corrections should be reported as quickly as possible and no later than 14 days after the race.

Series Results – Results will be updated approximately 2 weeks after each event. This allows a "grace period" to correct any errors in the race postings.

Food, Water Stations, Port-o-lets – A variety of food and drink will be provided at the Finish area for all runners and walkers. Water will be available at the Start/Finish area and along the route. Port-o-lets will be located in the Start/Finish area.
