In 1859, Rufus Cable replied, "This is a fit place for a garden
of the gods. Let that be its name." And so it became. And through the
courtesy of Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Department, the
Grand Prix of Running offers two running events in truly one of the most
beautiful areas in the United States. Both the 5 Mile and 5K routes are
conducted within the confines of the Garden of the Gods. These events are
part of the prestigious Grand Prix of Running Series of races; a series
that is fast becoming one of Colorados best running series. The courses
are hilly and strenuous.
Parking Notes: Parking is available at Verizon, Garden of the Gods Road

a mile on the path. Parking is not allowed at the Visitor Center. Busses

Race Day registration starts at 7am.
